Stable Cottage in Painswick, Gloucestershire is a pretty, two-bedroom barn conversion, which comfortably accommodates up to four guests. The dog-friendly, holiday cottage is located at the heart of the Cotswolds and surrounded by stunning countryside, yet remains within easy reach of many of the area’s popular towns, villages and attractions.

The former stables has been refurbished to a very high standard and tastefully decorated throughout. On the ground floor of the cottage there is a comfy lounge, a dining area, a well-equipped kitchen and the Master Bedroom with a king-size bed and en-suite bathroom. Upstairs there is a twin bedroom, which again benefits from an en-suite bathroom. Outside, guests can enjoy a private garden and terrace for alfresco dinners.

Location

Stable Cottage is located in the historic Cotswolds town of Painswick. The pretty village, which is often referred to as the ‘Queen of the Cotswolds’ is one of the areas most loved and best preserved with some beautiful buildings and narrow streets to discover. The town is also surrounded by gorgeous countryside and is the mid-way point for the Cotswold Way.

Within the town, there are several places to eat, as well as a variety of shops. If looking to get out and about Slad, Stroud and Sheepscombe are all within easy reach; as are the grounds for the Badminton Horse Trials and of course the famous Cheltenham RaceCourse, home to the Gold Cup.
